Cultural Heritage Informatics Fieldschool + Ethnobiology Letters

Two things that I am happy and excited to learn about are:

The Cultural Heritage Informatics Fieldschool being held this summer at Michigan State University.

Ethnobiology Letters, a gold open access publication of the Society for Ethnobiology.

  1. Have any students who you think might be interested in attending the Cultural Heritage Informatics Fieldschool? I’m very keen on getting as wide a variety of students (both grad and undergrad) as possible.

  2. Hi Ethan. I thought I saw an immediate deadline for applications. Looking again, I see that it is rolling. I will circulate news of this opportunity among the students I am networked with here at Indiana and elsewhere. It is an exciting opportunity. The American Folklore Society Review is one venue to which you could circulate notice of the opportunity. Jason

  3. The initial deadline did indeed pass. However, I am accepting apps on a rolling basis now. The only kicker is that acceptance at this stage is on a first come, first served basis.

    • I just sent a note to my list. If you email me a paragraph blurb with a link, I will circulate it on PUBLORE and post it to AFS Review.
